June 8th Results

20 players faced a somewhat chilly easterly wind with several underdressed for the cold start to the morning. The recent dry spell has also created fast greens and hard fairways increasing the distance run by the balls and the challenge of controlling shots. Rising to the challenge were Richard Edmonds and Eric Ward who both returned 21 points with Richard taking the honours on countback. Tony Kinder was nearest at 7.

Shot of the day came at the 8th where Gordon Fisher holed for a par from some 70 yards having visited the burn with his drive.
