Results for 15th June

Not only was the weather hot so was the scoring with 4 players scoring 20 or more points. David Wallace and Ian Tate both hit 23 points with David taking the honours on countback. Several players scored in the high teens. Birdies were logged by Ian Tate, Ken Davie, Bill Hardcastle, David Ward-Gittos and George Langlands who was also nearest at the 7th.

The groundstaff have certainly risen to the challenge not to lose the course to the prolonged hot/dry spell.

For interest, I am posting this from the 8th Tee at Southern Dunes Golf Course in Arizona. The wonders of technology. Also I just birdied the 7th for 3 points! ( David Wright)
