29th August Results
/The much-anticipated competition for the Peebles Putter took place on a pleasant morning with 21 hopefuls demonstrating their putting skills.
The result will be announced at our annual lunch, but suffice to say there was a clear winner with a most impressive scarcity of putts.
Play was pretty good for the weekly medal and there was a tie on nett 30 between Warner Hardie and George Cunningham, with Warner just winning on a detailed countback.
Ken Davey was nearest at no 7 and Ken also birdied no 5.
Members are reminded that on 5th September we will compete for the Ken Bowie Salver - a 5-club Stableford competition.
