A red sky morning created favourable golfing conditions. The greens presented the main challenge which David Wallace rose to, winning with 19 points. Chris Malcolm eased out Ronnie Watt for second, both returning 18 points. Sandy Macfarlane was nearest at 7. Birdies there were none.
