A fine if blustery summer's morning, with the course in excellent condition, encouraged some very good stableford scoring.

Ian Quigley and John Forsyth both scored 26 points, Ian winning on the countback. Birdies were recorded at the 9th by David Wallace and Chris Malcolm, Gordon Fisher was nearest at the 7th.
