Despite a poor weather forecast 25 players turned up on a milder morning, including a jet-lagged David Wallace. Overall scoring was good with 10 players returning net 32 or less. Pick of the crop was Melvin Cannell with net 27 closely followed by Bill Hardcastle on net 28. Melvin was also nearest at 7 while Bill birdied the first and eighth, Warner Hardie birdieing the seventh.
