A cool westerly presented a bit of a challenge on an otherwise perfect morning for golf. Few rose to the challenge, however, the exception being John Napier who posted a net 27 for first place. John Burnett earned a rare mention in dispatches coming second with net 32 beating Melvin Cannell on countback. Bill Hardcastle was nearest at the 7th. Birdies there were none.
