Results 30th March
/On a blustery early spring day a good turnout of 20 played pretty poorly.
Our traditional spring handicap uplift is clearly anxiously awaited.
However, fresh from a week of revolutionary immersion in the cafes of Vienna, Tony Kinder produced a great performance to win with 19 points. In second place and assisted by his West Highland Terrier (seek R&A clarification on canine assistance !!??) was George Tucker with 17 points. The rest of the field was seriously 'also-ran'.
Roger Key had a birdie on the 5th which cheered an otherwise unmemorable outing and Chris Beaumont was nearest at 7 with a fine fade into the strong wind.
