As we move progressively out of lockdown, we are looking forward to a busy golfing season on and off the course. We strive to provide an excellent hospitality experience to our customers, with a modern clubhouse which has a bar, lounge and restaurant offering a variety of dining and drinking options to members, non-members, guests, and visitors. 

We are searching for a committed and proactive Bar Manager who will enjoy working in an exciting, friendly environment, to oversee our bar operations. The successful candidate will be required to promote and grow the business, increase footfall, support and train the bar staff, and ensure that customers receive an excellent service.

The postholder will also manage inventory and resources, plan social events (supported by our social committee), ensure that quality and safety controls are followed, maintain current licenses and update supplier contracts, create schedules, and set business objectives to increase profits and maximize customer satisfaction.

You will work closely and effectively with the club’s catering partner to deliver a ‘one team approach’ and ensure a seamless customer experience. You should be motivated to increase footfall into the clubhouse and grow the bar revenues.

To succeed as a Bar Manager, you should be observant and have the ability to think critically and plan efficiently. You should be a good communicator, with strong interpersonal skills and motivate the team around you.
