SUNDAY 30 SEPTEMBER – 8.30am SHOTGUN START
To celebrate the final day of this year’s Ryder Cup in Paris, Peebles will once again be hosting its own Ryder Cup Challenge Match, which has become a tradition at the club since 2014.
Taking place on Sunday 30 September, this will be a fun competition open to all players with a handicap (men, women and juniors), contested between two team – Peebles and The Rest of the World. The event will have an 8.30am shotgun start, allowing everyone to get back to the clubhouse to watch the Ryder Cup action unfold on our bIg screens, live on Sky Sports.
Entry fee will be £2 per player to fund prizes and a special Ryder Cup menu will be available from our catering team throughout the day.
PEEBLES – born, bred or raised, attended a Peebles primary school or have lived in the town most of your life
REST OF THE WORLD – those who have travelled from far off lands such as Edinburgh, Glasgow, England, Ireland, South Africa, USA...or Innerleithen.
We would encourage you to wear team colours on the day to add to the occasion – Blue for Peebles (Europe) and Red for the Rest of the World (USA).
As you will see we still have some spaces available to make up a full tee sheet of fourballs. If you would like to take part then please contact the office or put your name on the sheet in reception.
